BACCARAT

Select your casino and go to the Baccarat game.

The game-board will differ from Casino to Casino.

Here a typical gaming - situation goes like this:

START

Set the amount you want to risk in the bet. There are maybe limitations (maximum / minimum). Look to the Baccarat table on your screen. You will place your current bet amount on the table - adding to any bet amount that might already be there. To remove your current bet amount from the table, right-click inside one of the designated betting areas.

Deal

A minimum bet of $5 (distributed among any of the three possible bets) is required to start the deal.

If the total bet placed on the table is at least the required minimum, a DEAL button will light up, indicating that you may click it to start the deal.

A quick way The DEAL button may be enabled to repeat the previous bet, without any bets on the table. In this case, clicking the DEAL button will start a new hand using the same bets made for the previous hand.

Playing the Baccarat Game

Baccarat requires no intervention by the player once the cards have been dealt. There are specific rules (see THE RULES) that dictate whether the player or banker receives a third card, but these rules are carried out entirely by the dealer. The player does not need to be familiar with the "third card" rules.

The player's objective is to correctly predict which of the two hands (Player or Banker) will have a point total closest to 9 (depends on house rules, read them first; some casinos use 21).

Select an initial bet amount then click in the designated betting areas.

  • Place the amount into the betting areas:
  • In the "B-A-N-K-E-R" row to bet on the bank's hand
  • In the "P-L-A-Y-E-R" row to bet on the player's hand
  • In the "T-I-E" area.

The Deal.

The player is dealt the first and third card while the second and fourth cards are dealt to the bank. Maybe specific rules dictate whether a third card is drawn for the player or the bank. The player's hand is completed first.

The winner of the game is the hand whose point total is closest to 9. In the case of a tie, the bets on the Bank and the Player are stand-offs orneither the Bank nor Player wins nor loses unless the Player has placed a wager on TIE.
